Hasbro Twister Dance
The Twister Dance by Hasbro looks like something that will be great fun to do with the family round at Christmas. It looks like something that may have been great if it was out a few years ago but I'm just not so sure that the dance sensation in gaming has already been done with the likes of Just Dance and Dance Dance Revolution for the Wii, Playstation and Xbox. For another dance game to really make it I would think it would have to really unique and have more options on the game play.
Twister Dance looked to have had that "twist" to it to make it stand out from the previous dance games as I first thought that it was a mix of the popular board game and dance but it seems it is just a dance game, in fact I'm not even sure it's much of a game in the sense that no one wins, you just dance around as the coloured spots light up but they do not let you know if you have stood on the wrong one so you can just keep going, which is great if you want to use this to get some exercise into your kids life without the distracting buzz that can out them off.
Do I think this will make a good present? To be honest, if the person you are buying has specifically asked for it then yes but if they already have a games console you will probably get much better dance programmes for it however, if you are purchasing this a family game for special occasions then this will be great.
You can all have a wee dance before Christmas dinner to burn off some of the inevitable calories and after dinner when most of the adults have had a wee tipple or two, this could prove to be very good fun indeed!
