In the alternative items here I just could not resist putting the original Twister game in! To me it will always be one of the best kids party games and gets people of all ages up to play, perhaps not granny with the artificial hip, but most people will have a laugh with this, even the adults can borrow this game for drinking nights and have a wee sip of alcohol when they fall down (I would say take a shot but I'm trying to be reasonably reasonable here!)
Dance Central for the Xbox and Just Dance 2 for the Nintendo Wii are funtastic games and come at a much cheaper price than the Twister Dance, they may not have the lights and pads but you can make do as you will so busy watching the screen and concentrating on your new found dancing techniques to care about flashing lights!
You can get the Just Dance kids version that has music more suited to younger children and also has some nursery rhymes on it which very young kids and babies will like to listen to and watch, even if they are too wee to play yet.
The Grease Dance is for ages 8 and up and is a little more tricky to learn the choreography but brilliant for young ones that are eager to learn dancing. They do, of course have to like the songs in Greece though, otherwise this could get very boring very quickly!
